Why do you charge for some books that can be found free elsewhere online?
Most free ebooks are simple text files loaded with extra text on the site that offers it to you for free. We have reformatted these books into a pleasing PDF style for ease of reading and for optimum printablility. As this takes time and effort, we still think it is fair to charge a minumum (usually 99 cents) fee for all the time we spent making these items more reader friendly for the consumer. And you would pay a print publisher much more for a simple paper back version of these same free books without really questioning it. We are dedicated to fair pricing and want our customers to leave (and return often!) happy.
